Bioremediation

Bioremediation is a science defined as any biological process that uses micro-organisms or their enzymes to remove contaminants from the environment. For treatment of contaminated soils, bioremediation can occur either in-situ or ex-situ.

Although the soil bioremediation process is naturally occurring and takes time to achieve its treatment objective, this process can often be accelerated or stimulated by the utilization of innovative technologies.

Through innovative technologies, Morgan Construction and Environmental Ltd. (Morgan) has successfully completed numerous in-situ and ex-situ bioremediation projects. Morgan works closely with our clients in helping develop specific treatment processes that will address the contaminant(s) of concern. Morgan will then excavate and institute the bio-treatment process selected for the contaminant of concern.

Our Bioremediation services include:

  • Mechanical treatment processes (AlluTM Bucket, Windrow Turner and Soil Screening)
  • Construction of Bio-piles/ Bio-cell with ongoing maintenance and servicing
  • Composting
  • Landfarming
