Morgan Demolition and Abatement expands the groups service offering with our specialized abatement services and commercial demolition team. The integrated forces of Morgan and MDA's project experience, allows us to offer creative, cost-conscious and turn-key solutions to our client's diverse project needs throughout Western and Northern Canada.

Requirements Morgan Demolition and Abatement is seeking qualified asbestos workers to join the growing team.

Candidates must be willing to work the following; (days / evenings / nights / weekends). However, typically the projects are M - F from 7 am - 3:30 pm. Projects are located in Edmonton and surrounding areas.

Duties including but not limited to:

  • Complete all abatement tasks as instructed by foreman
  • Hauling of site debris
  • Interior and exterior abatement
  • Use of hand tools and power tools daily
  • Operation of equipment when deemed competent (skid steer, floor machine, lifts and company vehicles)
  • Lifting 50lbs+ on a regular basis
  • Follow specific instructions and complete tasks in a timely matter
  • Must be able to work alone, as well as be a great team player
  • Must always be safety conscious, following Morgan safety policies and procedures
  • Assist project foreman with any required documentation (Safety or equipment related)
  • Assist project foreman with any site-specific dispatch requirements (materials, equipment, bins, fuel)
  • Must have a full understanding of practice and procedure at hand before beginning work
  • General clean and sweep of project site at end of every shift
  • Assist project foreman ensuring project is safe and materials are always secure

Must have the following;

Valid Alberta Asbestos Worker ticket Class 5 driver's license 2 years experience in low / moderate / high risk containment Steel Toed Boots Benefits Health benefits after 3 months

Safety training provided

Valid Driver's License is Required
