Description

Reporting to the Field Recruitment Supervisor the Recruitment Coordinator plays a key role in executing the crucial function of identifying strong candidates and onboarding top talent to our company. The ideal candidate will be based in Edmonton or Calgary, and responsible for assisting the Recruitment Team with the employee’s full onboarding cycle from beginning to end.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understanding of our Morgan values and Pillars of Excellence; consistently demonstrating alignment through everyday actions;
  • Assisting with the proactive recruitment, screening, and onboarding of candidates.
  • Tracking results and assisting with data analysis and reporting;
  • Providing day-to-day organization to the recruitment function, including monitoring priorities and timelines, scheduling interviews, responding to questions from candidates and new hires, booking appointments, etc;
  • Conducting extensive people searches to uncover top talent and produce long lists of qualified candidates;
  • Liaising with the Human Resources Team and other key stakeholders in order to provide service excellence and desired outcomes;
  • Regularly following up with new hires, providing exceptional touchpoints throughout the onboarding process to ensure they remain on track for their start date;
  • Maintain accuracy and organization within Workable and BisTrainer; and
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Possesses strong written and verbal communications skills;
  • Thrives working under pressure with strict deadlines;
  • Adapts to a changing workload and requirements;
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office;
  • Highly organized and able to work on multiple, competing priorities at any one time; and
  • Provides a high level of customer service to both internal and external clients.


EXPERIENCE

  • Post secondary education considered an asset;
  • Previous experience in Office Administration, HR Administration and/or Recruitment Support; and
  • Previous experience in a construction environment.
