EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE ADMINISTATOR MATERNITY LEAVE POSITION

SUMMARY: Reporting to Fort McMurray Field Maintenance Superintendent, located at Poplar Creek Site Office.

The Equipment Maintenance Administrator will play a critical role in supporting the maintenance team with day to day paperwork and routine requests while also acting as a bridge between Poplar Creek, Acheson Shop, and Operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES: • Create and Maintain all maintenance personnel shift schedules; • Coordinate camp reservations for all maintenance personnel as required; • Work closely with Operations and act as the key maintenance coordinator for all internal as well as client training requirements and bookings; • Maintain an on-going training matrix for all maintenance personnel; • Create daily tailgate meetings for the Maintenance Team; • Support the maintenance leadership team in the development of new Safety Documents, i.e Procedures, JSAs, and Safe Work Practices; • Populate and distribute weekly preventative maintenance schedule for all equipment; • Work closely with Equipment Team to ensure equipment repair status is communicated via daily spreadsheet updates; • Assist HR and Dispatch with onboarding of maintenance personnel, ensuring all personnel are adequately prepared for the job site; • Conduct weekly yard inventory of equipment located within Poplar Creek; • Collect and track safety statistics; • Receive and code timesheets on a daily basis; • Coordination of two way radios; and • Perform other administrative duties as required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: • Knowledge of equipment or construction would be beneficial; • Knowledge in Oil and Gas training requirements considered an asset; • Possesses strong written and verbal communications skills; • Must be self-directed, task, and goal oriented; and • Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS: • A minimum of three years’ experience in an administrative role; • Wiling to work a 5+2 Schedule; • Local to the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo is preferred; and • Proficiency in MS Office, primarily in the use of Excel.

Valid Driver's License is Required
